Psychiatrist I

Psychiatry resident accountable for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illnesses. Provides thorough psychiatric services including assessment, diagnosis, prescriptions for medications, and treatment under the general supervision of an attending physician. Responsible for advanced evaluation, diagnosis, and care to mentally ill adults and mentally and emotionally ill adolescents and children. Prescribes, evaluates, and monitors administration of medications under the general supervision. Requires graduation from an accredited school of medicine with a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, or graduation from a foreign medical school and certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Psychiatrist II

Psychiatrist accountable for the assessment and treatment of mental illnesses. Provides thorough psychiatric services including assessment, diagnosis, prescriptions and treatment. Responsible for more elaborate, complex, and precise evaluation and care to severely mentally ill adults and emotionally ill adolescents. Prescribes, evaluates, and monitors administration of mediations, including in child and adolescent populations. Serves as a consultant to other medical staff and prepares and submits evaluation reports to the courts and testifies in court proceedings.

Typically requires state licensure, Board Certification in Psychiatry, and 0-3 years of experience.

Psychiatry Team Lead

Psychiatrist accountable for the assessment and treatment of mental illnesses. Provides thorough psychiatric services including assessment, diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment. Responsible for more elaborate, complex, and precise evaluation and care to severely mentally ill adults and emotionally ill adolescents. Prescribes, evaluates, and monitors administration of mediations, including in child and adolescent populations. Leads interdisciplinary teams in evaluating new patients and writes admission and discharge orders. Serves as a consultant to other medical staff and prepares and submits evaluation reports to the courts and testifies in court proceedings.

Typically requires state licensure, Board Certification in Psychiatry, and 0-3 years of experience.
