Barber/Cosmetologist

These positions work in and oversee state-operated barber or cosmetology facilities. Accountable for ensuring that the establishment is clean and organized, tools and equipment are maintained and sterilized, and monitoring and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Positions provide hair care services including shampooing, conditioning, cutting, shaving, coloring, and styling to clients with mental illness and developmental or physical disabilities.

Typically requires a state license to practice as a barber or cosmetologist.
