Jobs in this occupational group provide support and social services to ensure the safety and promote the independence of adults and children dealing with mental, physical, or emotional challenges, needs and/or self- sufficiency. Also included in this occupational group are jobs that determine eligibility of individuals for programs, self-sufficiency, and assistance and process claims within those programs and/or provide oversight of these programs.
