News MSPB Team Members Elected to MAPA Leadership Positions

Jackson, Miss. (September 29, 2020) – James Betts, MSPB career counseling consultant, has been elected to serve as the Mississippi Association of Personnel Administrators (MAPA) vice president/president-elect for the 2020-2021 year. He will serve as vice president this year and as president next year.

Two additional MSPB team members have been elected to serve in MAPA leadership positions. Kandace Griffin and Brandee Lockett have been elected to the MAPA Board of Directors. The Board acts in an advisory capacity in matters pertaining to the activities and role of the Association.  Griffin and Lockett also serve as consultants in MSPB’s Career Counseling Center.

MAPA is an organization that serves to advance the knowledge of personnel administration as an art or science, to disseminate information to all members regarding personnel administration, and to provide opportunities for education and to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas among members.
