Governor Phil Bryant Proclaims May 9, 2012 State Employee Recognition Day

May 9, 2012, JACKSON, Miss.- Governor Phil Bryant has
issued an official proclamation declaring today as State Employee
Recognition Day. The Governor's proclamation recognizes the
contributions of State employees to the citizens of Mississippi in
many areas, including education, public safety, emergency
management, economic development, transportation, human services,
health care, and national defense. "We appreciate Governor
Bryant recognizing the dedication and talents of public servants
across the State of Mississippi. Our workforce is our
greatest asset, and the efficiency and effectiveness of our State
government depend on a strong, quality workforce," said Deanne
Mosley, Executive Director of the Mississippi State Personnel
Board. "We are honored to share this proclamation from Governor
Bryant with all employees of the State of Mississippi."
